We have to be more disciplined than the rest."

"How do I stay inspired to keep going when you feel like you’re talking to crickets?" |
|
|
Very simple: get their attention.
- Email every single person who has blown you off and say this:
"Forgive me for being a nuisance but I've reached out a few times. Are you interested in moving forward or is this not a priority at the moment?"
- Get a response.
- If they don't respond, wait two weeks and then call and say the same message over the phone. Text or leave a voicemail if they don't answer.
- If they don't respond, email them and say this:
"I want to apologize, to sincerely apologize, for not being able to meet your needs. Is there any feedback as to where I fell short?"
- Get a response.
- If they don't respond, call them two weeks later and say the same message over the phone. Leave a VM or text if they don't answer.
- If they don't respond to this, then email once last time and say this (subject line: "
Close the file") "
Forgive me for bugging you here but I haven't heard back and I've reached out twice. Should I close your file?"
- Get a response.
Don't allow people to blow you off; it's bad for your self esteem.
Take control by always getting a response when you talk to someone; don't let it go and expect them to come around. |
